On the topic of making Bitcoin more private and scalable, Amir Taaki appears to be a fan of ZK STARKs – as developed by StarkWare. These layer 2s can be enabled by OP_CAT – a concatenation OP code that was part of the original Bitcoin stack, and was rewritten into BIP 420 to mitigate Satoshi Nakamoto’s concerns.
