Yao's garbled circuits "encrypt" a Boolean circuit (AND/OR/NOT gates) so one party evaluates it blindly and only learns the output. Magic privacy + verifiability!Argo (new 2026 breakthrough) makes this way more efficient—using elliptic curve MACs to slash circuit sizes/speeds by 1000–2000×. Huge for off-chain SNARK verification on Bitcoin (think BitVM bridges). Privacy + scalability win.
