Bitcoin Is Historically Cheap Right Now

March 6, 2026

Show Notes

Bitcoin valuation, power curve analysis, and global macro risks all come together in this episode as Matthew evaluates where Bitcoin currently sits within its long term trend. Using multiple statistical models including quantile regression and evolving multiples, he explains how Bitcoin appears historically cheap relative to both gold and silver. From several different chart perspectives, Bitcoin is currently trading far below its long term trend levels, suggesting that the market may be near generationally discounted territory. Matthew compares Bitcoin’s valuation across three major reference assets. When priced in dollars, Bitcoin sits significantly below its power curve trend. When priced in gold, it is trading near historically low ratios of ounces per Bitcoin. The silver comparison appears even more extreme, showing some of the deepest discounts relative to historical trend levels.
