This talk at Presidio Bitcoin's Quantum Bitcoin Summit by John Light (Alpen Labs) presents BitZip, a proposal to mitigate the scalability impact of large post-quantum signatures on Bitcoin’s L1 throughput. BitZip introduces a novel transaction type and a block validity rule that removes all post-quantum signatures from the block and replaces them with a single STARK proof verifying their correctness.
