Their fears, their hopes, their dreams, and sometimes the things they didn't feel comfortable saying anywhere else. What I didn't realize at the time was that those conversations were preparing me for podcasting. I'm not a finance expert. I'm not a tech expert. I'm just someone who's genuinely curious about people. When I found Bitcoin, I noticed something right away. A lot of the people talking about it were speaking a language that everyday people couldn't understand. And even when the information was good, it often felt intimidating or overwhelming. I wanted to create a different kind of conversation. A place where someone brand new could feel welcome. A place where seasoned Bitcoiners could hear stories that inspire them. A place where people could ask questions, share ideas, and feel like they're part of the conversation. As a woman, I also noticed how few women were finding their way into Bitcoin, even though it has the power to create more independence, confidence, and opportunity. I want more women to see that Bitcoin is for them too. My goal is the same as it was in the salon: to help people leave feeling a little better than when they arrived. A little more hopeful.
