ColdCard Mk4 v5 is introducing an exciting new feature: SIGHASH Other Than ALL! Users can now enjoy the expanded support for all SIGHASH types, unlocking new specialized Bitcoin transactions with the platform. This breakthrough empowers multiple signers and offers the flexibility to make limited changes to transactions even after signing. But that's not all. The platform is committed to enhancing security through advanced SIGHASH modes. By venturing into the Danger Zone and enabling Sighash Checks, users can explore the more daring options while being reassured with comprehensive warnings for all the new SIGHASH modes. This ensures a safe and informed use through the platform. In addition to the new features, the platform has undergone notable enhancements. SeedXOR now extends support to 12 and 18 word mnemonics. Signing memory and speed have been optimized, resulting in faster transactions. Furthermore, the Docker repro build container has been improved with the introduction of a non-privileged container, creating a seamless and secure environment for users. The team has also addressed various bug fixes. Users will no longer need to manually reboot Coldcard after extended private key and TAPSIGNER backup imports into a blank wallet. The main menu is now displayed correctly, rectifying any previous issues. Additionally, an old code problem that inaccurately set SIGHASH types on foreign PSBT inputs has been resolved. And to enhance performance, the "Validating..." screen now appears only once, providing an improved user experience.
